In case you didn’t hear me screaming from behind my laptop on Thursday, and I think my neighbors certainly did…I wanted to share the FANTABULOUS news with you all! My Pollo al Rhum {Chicken with Rum} recipe was featured on SAVEUR.com
I simply can not contain my excitement! It was completely unexpected and a beautiful way to start my day. I start it as I usually do, wake up, get babies ready for school…out the door…yawn…straight to coffee machine…straight to laptop…sit down check email & then onto my statistics page (yes, I keep up with you guys wink wink). And there it was saveur.com as an incoming link & I thought to myself did I read that right? So, with a little hesitation I clicked on the link & then I seriously about fell out of my chair when I saw my tasty little chicken thighs staring right back at me! As if that wasn’t enough it said Best of Web! Best of Web! Well, yes then the happy dance ensued and a whole lotta shaking was going on LOL! Yes, I was over the moon excited & still am. You can ask Cookielicious I called her immediately & screamed it incoherently in her ear - tee hee (sorry Cookie)
I simply love SAVEUR! It’s such an inspirational food magazine & website & to have one of my recipes featured as a best of web well it was almost too much to process! I am so grateful and thankful & still can hardly believe it!
Thank you for indulging me…I’ll try not to do it too often, but seriously if it happens again I can’t be held responsible for another giddy outburst! Feel free to do a little happy dance of your own, I’ll be happy to dance along with ya! Mwah!
