Good luck! <3

Butter and syrup
Fresh fruit and powdered sugar! DELISH
Butter, a little syrup, and fresh strawberries! YUM!
The best way to top a waffle (in my book) is a creamy chocolate-peanut butter sauce. The saltiness of the peanut butter brings out the rich flavors of the chocolate. I would love a waffle right now.
Peanut butter and for real maple syrup. YUMM_O
This is my first time posting on your blog — I’ve been following it for quite some time and must say I love your recipes. My favorite topping for waffles? Some homemade lemon curd and fresh strawberries with whip cream on the side. And of course, a steaming cup of fresh coffee to accompany it.
Oh my god my waffle iron is a million years old and pathetic. I still make waffles with it, I just have to re-toast them in the toaster so they get crispy. I would eat waffles every day if I had a new one. I usually make the waffles the flavorful part (oatmeal, maple flavoring, chopped nuts, flax seeds, etc.) and then just top them with butter. Sometimes I sprinkle powdered sugar on them but never syrup. Why ruin the crunch with goop?
lots and lots of butter thanks
I top waffles with peanut butter
Oh geez – I am so simple. My favorite waffle topping is butter and warm syrup.
That feels so boring compared to all the other yummy things described above. Maybe I will have to take some notes, and get more creative next time!

I just like syrup and butter on my waffles but I use a recipe that uses club soda as the liquid…makes them extra crispy!
My mom always poured half the batter into the waffle iron, laid down a few strips of bacon, and poured the rest of the batter on top. Bacon in the waffles! Still my fav.

My 4 kids are waffle junkies and are in need of a 12 step program…or a heart waffle iron!!!! I like to pour the batter on the iron, sprinkle chopped pecans, cook – then top with maple syrup mixed with melted butter. Mmmm….
syrup. and maybe some berries.
plain…without any toppings!
Strawberries (fresh) with whipped cream is essential. Caramel and/or chocolate syrup are also a great addition, but are optional.
I like mine with apple pie filling on top.
