Sorbetto di Melagrana {Pomegranate Sorbet}

I’ve officially brought my ice cream maker out of it’s winter hibernation. It gets a pretty heavy workout in our house during the warm months and needs a little reprieve during the colder months ; ) The only decision what was to make in it first. A refreshing sorbet seemed like a great choice ; )

I’m fortunate to work with many amazing companies. POM Wonderful is one of those companies. We adore POM Wonderful pomegranate juice in our house, and always have at least one double bubble bottle {try saying that three times fast} in our fridge…so yes, a pomegranate sorbet was the natural choice! You’ll hardly believe that there are just THREE simple ingredients in this refreshing sorbet and it comes together in a snap.

You can always find a bottle of POM Wonderful juice in the market so you can whip up this sorbet anytime your heart desires. I think it would even be fantastic using the POM cherry or POM blueberry juices as well!

Once you’ve made our Pomegranate Sorbet you can also try our  Pomegranate Gelato.

Baci!

    Absolutely love this, I’m a big fan of POM wonderful juice. The bad news is, I dot have an ice-cream maker. Can you make an addendum for those of us without ice-cream makers? Thanks!

    I’ve just purchased a Kitchenaid ice cream maker attachment which is brilliant! I love 100% pomegranate juice and will definitely be making this recipe with Pom! I love Ocean Spray Cranberry light also. Was wondering if this would taste O.K. as a sorbet? or do you have to add sugar to make it palatable?
