Pioneer Woman’s Pasta With Tomato Cream Sauce
You all know by now that I have a weakness for pasta. I prefer weakness to obsession, it just sounds so much better doesn’t it. Okay who am I kidding, I am obsessed. Good pasta is a thing of beauty, and if it’s something bad then I don’t want to be right. This pasta with tomato cream sauce is beauty in a bowl and I couldn’t be happier to share it with you today.
It happens to be from THE one and only Ree aka The Pioneer Woman‘s newest cookbook, “The Pioneer Woman Cooks Food From My Frontier”. I was beyond tickled to have received a signed copy of Ree’s book in the mail a few weeks back. I’m adding the picture in case you don’t believe me ; ) It’s basically gorgeous and vibrant just like she is.
Unless you live under a rock you know who Ree is. She’s pretty much a blogging rockstar. I met Ree on Twitter, where I meet all my friends, don’t y’all? Ree and I bonded over pasta and the PBR (I’m not talking Pabst blue ribbon people, I’m talking the Boys, Boots, Bulls & Buckles of the Professional Bull Riders Association) Maybe one day we’ll have a pasta making party while watching the PBR and drinking Pinot Grigio. You never know ; ) It could happen!
Now that I had her book in my hot little hands all that was left to do was choose a recipe to share with you. No question it was going to be a pasta dish. I was drawn to the Pasta with Tomato Cream Sauce and when Ree mentioned it was one of her favorites we stuck a fork in it and called it a day.
I followed the recipe to the ‘t” and it was simple and scrumptious. I didn’t change a thing so if you can pop on over to Ree’s place on the web for her PASTA WITH TOMATO CREAM SAUCE recipe. It makes a gracious plenty even with my family of 5. You are REQUIRED to have bread on hand to mop of this sauce. You’ll thank me for the tip, and Ree of course for the recipe.
